We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology & Product Officer (CTPO) to lead our technical and product strategy from our Paris headquarters, working hand-in-hand with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to improve medical relevance and accuracy.

Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional Chief Technology & Product Officer (CTPO or CPO) to join our leadership team in Paris. This role is pivotal in shaping Praxy AI’s technical vision, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful execution of our AI-powered healthcare solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, a proven track record in managing high-performing technical teams, and a passion for transforming healthcare through cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership & Innovation

  • Define and execute the technical roadmap for Praxy AI’s products, focusing on hybrid ASR-LLM models, speech recognition, and AI agent systems.
  • Lead the development and optimization of speech-to-text APIs, AI chatbots/callbots, and medical practice software, ensuring they surpass industry benchmarks in accuracy, scalability, and performance.
  • Drive self-hosted infrastructure strategies to maintain data sovereignty, security, and operational excellence.
  • Work hand-in-hand with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to refine models and ensure medical relevance and accuracy.
  • Prioritize and accelerate the industrialization of on-premise dictation solutions, callbots, multi-industry speech-to-text APIs, and the commercialization of medical practice software in Switzerland.

2. Team Management & Collaboration

  • Manage and mentor a technical team of 10+ engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, clinical, and business) to align technical development with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of technical talent.

3. Product Strategy & Execution

  • Drive the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with market needs and technological advancements across our key geographies.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and iteration, with a focus on speech-to-text APIs, chatbots, callbots, and medical practice software.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, software editors, and stakeholders to refine product features and ensure clinical and commercial relevance.

4. Systems & Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee the architecture and management of Praxy AI’s information systems and self-hosted infrastructure, ensuring robustness, security, and scalability.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, model training, and deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Degree: Graduate of a top-tier engineering or technical school (e.g., École Polytechnique, CentraleSupélec, Mines ParisTech, or equivalent).
  • Experience: 7–12 years of progressive experience in AI/ML, with a focus on LLM training, speech recognition, hybrid ASR-LLM systems, and AI agent development.
  • Leadership: Proven track record in managing technical teams and delivering complex AI projects in a self-hosted environment.
  • Product Management: Experience in product strategy, development, and commercialization, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries.

Technical Skills

  • Machine Learning: Expertise in training and fine-tuning ML models, particularly transformers architectures and LLMs.
  • Development Tools: Proficiency with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, automated testing, MLflow, and LangChain.
  • Infrastructure: Experience with self-hosted environments, cloud/on-premise infrastructure, and scalable system architectures.
  • Speech & NLP: Deep knowledge of speech recognition systems, NLP, and AI agent architectures.

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.

Languages

  • Fluency in English is mandatory. French is a strong plus.

Compensation

  • Salary: €90,000–€110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • Equity: €500,000 in stock options over 3 years.
